Sustainability and post-tournament legacy use are at the core of our design strategies for the stadiums and precincts proposed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™.
We want creative and cost-effective ideas that will lead to more sustainable outcomes in the design, construction and operational stages of our tournament infrastructure delivery.
Health & safety
Health and safety awareness is embedded in the SC’s corporate culture, and we strongly believe that every worker deserves safe, healthy and humane working and living conditions.
Your innovation should focus on occupational health and safety awareness, or enhancing, monitoring and controlling health and safety of workers.
Internet of things
The 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ will be the most connected in history. Your challenge is to identify ways in which the internet of things can provide innovative services, creating a more accessible, safer and better tournament experience.
Your innovation should focus on at least one of the following areas: journey planning and navigation; crowd control; virtual queues; sport as entertainment; or sport and health.
In 2022, fans from around the world will converge on Qatar in a celebration of the beautiful game. It is imperative that we provide our guests with consistently high levels of service, and deliver an amazing experience at every point.
We want you to create memorable experiences which reflect the best of who we are, while contributing to the long-term diversification of the Qatari and regional economies.
Pick a challenge and submit a short proposal showing how your innovation will address this challenge. See how to write a proposal for guidance.
