Proposal submissions

Pick a challenge and submit a short proposal showing how your innovation will address this challenge. See how to write a proposal for guidance.

Round one review

Your proposal will be evaluated by our panel of experts from various fields. Check the evaluation criteria for details about how they will assess your submission.

Proposal refinement

Semi-finalists will have the opportunity to be mentored by leading scientists and researchers to fine-tune their proposals for the next stage.

Round two review

Applications are narrowed down further, with finalists flown to Doha for business development workshops and to present their projects to our judges.

Final competition and prize ceremony

Doha, Qatar | 7–11 May 2017

All finalists will benefit from networking and skills development opportunities during this week. The winners will each take home USD 15,000 in prize money, the chance to apply for a grant of up to USD 100,000 and invaluable contacts and opportunities.
