Challenge 22

Challenge 22 is an innovation award launched in 2015 by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), along with its Strategic Partners on this programme, Silatech and Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF).

Challenge 22 gives entrepreneurs, inventors and scientists from across the Middle East and North Africa the opportunity to showcase their ideas – across four categories – on a global scale.

After an overwhelmingly successful first cycle, the programme returns in September 2016 for its second edition – and is open to entrants from more countries than ever before.

In 2016, citizens or legal residents of Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates are all eligible to apply.

Challenge 22 unites, inspires and challenges the region’s brightest minds, providing innovative thinkers with the opportunity to have their ideas showcased in front of an audience of billions in 2022 and beyond.

If you have your own idea and want to be the next Challenge 22 winner, find out how it works and sign up to be the first to know when applications open again. In 2016, it could be you…
