Personalised travel recommendations that give back to the local community.

The idea

ViaVii groups together incredible travel experiences and helps users discover genuine local experiences based on their profile and interests. The itineraries it generates focus on local events and attractions, giving users authentic experiences and injecting money into local communities.

The website and app allow users to purchase tickets online, create itineraries and discover cities like a local. Travellers can also connect directly to communities and guides to get the best offers.

The platform already has 7,000 experiences and there are five partnership agreements under discussion. Further growth will be fuelled by the USD 330,000 in equity and grants the venture has secured.

'Entrepreneurship is easier said than done. It's been a tough journey, but hard work eventually pays off.'
