Qatar Foundation Stadium Progress

Progress on Qatar Foundation Stadium’s construction is moving along at a rapid pace as our teams push towards the scheduled completion date at the end of 2019. Their efforts will create a truly memorable, innovative venue for the Middle East’s first FIFA World Cup™.

Qatar Foundation Stadium has been designed to become a beacon of sustainable stadium creation. As its development advances, every new stage of construction reinforces its commitment to a greener future.

Workers live on site here, further reducing the carbon footprint of this 40,000-seat arena, where fans will cheer on their heroes up to the quarter-final stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™.
